Alice In Wonderland basic info:

Little Alice, follows the white rabbit down to his rabbit-hole and drinks a potion making herself smaller. This smaller version of herlself opens a door into a Wonderland fantasy. Creatures in Wonderland speak and lead Alice into various fun and dangerous situations.

She meets many creatures which are infamous, including the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, The White Rabbit and The March Hare.

Eventually wandering around Wonderland to make herself bigger and get home, Alice becomes a guest at the Mad Hatter Tea party. It turns out to be a birthday party. Soon the other guests are telling jokes and riddles, however, Alice becomes insulted by their rudeness and leaves.

As Alice makes her way around Wonderland she comes across three animated cards which are using paint to make white roses red. Alice listens and learns that the Queen hates white roses, so they must paint them all red. The Queen comes along, after a while, and sees what the cards had done and orders off with their heads. The Queen of Hearts continues to order "off with their heads" while playing a croquet game with flamingos as the sticks.

Towards the end of the book, as Alice is on trial and about to be taken off for execution, she is awakened by her sister to realize its all a dream.

The Disney version of Alice In Wonderland is actually a mixture of the original and the sequel. The Queen of Hearts is part of the Disney version, but is actually in the Through The Looking Glass version.
